Gerosa Records Celebrates 30 Years in Brookfield

gerosa-records-celebrates-30-years-in-brookfieldMuch has changed in Brookfield over 30 years. Suburban sprawl has turned this once sleepy farm town into a highly trafficked shopping and dining destination for anyone seeking furniture, Mexican food, a manicure, and so much more. We’ve seen our farms transform into shopping plaza’s, our small schools blossom to accommodate over 2700 students, tracts of wooded land transformed into both single family and multi family housing.

There’s one thing that hasn’t changed however, and that’s Gerosa Records. Located at 246 Federal Road in Brookfield, Gerosa Records celebrates 30 years in Brookfield, on Sunday November 6. Throughout the day there will be raffles and give away’s from the labels and Gerosa. From 5-8PM the distinguished and well known Tony Purrone Trio will perform, and refreshments will be served. We hope to see as many of our long time friends as we can fit in the store!

It’s a family affair. Owner Brian Gerosa,  his son Brian Junior and niece Perry Gerosa man the gerosa-records-celebrates-30-yearsstore, fan the music passion, and keep the traditions alive.  “ I’ve loved seeing the many kids in town I’ve seen come in with their parents years ago, now coming in as customers” says Brian Sr. “I began this business 30 years ago as a passion, which evolved into a business, and after 30 years I still can’t wait to go to work every day. It still surprises me when folks come in from around the tri-state area and into northern New England because they ‘heard we were worth traveling to. Being a destination spot makes me very, very happy. I hope to see as many people as we can fit in the door on November 6. This is a big milestone for us. “
